Daily Routine
7:30 -8:00 Welcome parents and children into the centre. Children are encouraged to choose an activity.
Children circulate between Atelier and large activity room
8:00 - 8:30 School-age children are separated from the preschool. School-age children are dismissed at 8:30 weather permitting.
8:30 - 8:45 JK's to Mrs. Alter's
9:30 - 9:45 Individual programs begin
3:30 - 4:30 Outdoor exploration for all programs
4:30 - 4:50 Revisit/story. Children are encouraged to talk about their days experiences and plans for tomorrow.
4:50 - 5:45 Children are free to explore the environment.
5:45 - 6:00 Preparation for parents arrival. Parents may be filmed on their way out the door!
   
Preschool
9:30 - 10:00 Meeting. The children and teachers explore the possibilities of the project through conversation. Through this dialogue our curriculum is born.
10:00 - 10:30 Atelier. An extension of meeting, children are given an opportunity to express thoughts and feelings through various mediums.
10:30 - 11:30 Outdoor Exploration. Extension of the curriculum, the children test the endless possibilities of nature.
11:30 - 11:50 Re - visit. Reminisce about the morning experiences and negotiate further possibilities. Children may view videos.
11:50 - 12:30 Lunch. The children eat drink and make merry!
12:30 - 1:30 Rest. An opportunity to relax and reflect.
2:30 - 3:30 Wake-up/Snack. Snack is available:
Children are encouraged to eat.
Children are free to explore the environment.
3:30 - 4:30 Outdoor Exploration. Extension of the curriculum, the children test the endless possibilities of nature.

2:00 - 3:30 Collaborative group or individual work. Children are encouraged to dialogue, critique, compare and problem solve using the "Hundred Languages".

School age Routine
3:30 - 3:50
Welcome. Gathering of children and teachers. Children snack and catch up on the days events with their friends.
3:50 - 4:00 Meeting. Attendance is taken. We share thoughts, feelings and ideas about our afternoon activities. We also partake in an F.Y.I. for staff and children alike!
4:00 - 4:30
Outdoor Exploration. Our day's activities include activities such as hockey, soccer, tennis or just plain hanging out with friends.
4:30 - 5:30 Collaborative group or individual work. The children have the opportunity to work together with each other and with the teachers on projects they have developed. They are also free to choose individual activities such as computer, homework or whatever else may interest them.
5:30 Gathering Together. The school age children gather together with the pre-school children to await the arrival of their parents.
